Clonad GAA Club was awarded at the Joe MacDonagh Foundation Ceremony in Croke Park on Friday 29th November, one of only 70 clubs in the country to receive the distinction for promoting Gaeilge.

Representing the club on the night were Nicola Ní Lorcáin and Treasa Uí Síoráin, and big thanks to all on the Gaeilge committee for all the work each person contributed this year to making gaeilge flourish in our club!
This is the first stage in our accreditation journey, and the club hopes to go even further again next year.
The foundation is a collaboration between the GAA and Glór na nGael to promote Gaeilge on the ground in GAA and to help what is ,visbly,a thriving language in the country again.
